Dear
MAG 7,
I just wanted to drop you guys a short note to say hi AND THANKS for all your help at the Baja 500. With MAG 7s help we finished 7th overall m/c and second in Class 21. Your team's professionalism, enthusiasm and passion for Baja Racing is much appreciated. We had three Baja rookies on our team including my son. They were able to participate at such a high level because they knew the pit support was handled. Thanks again for all your help. We look forward to working with you in the future. I wanted to express my sincere
"THANK YOU" for the magnificent pit support all the way down the Baja
peninsula for the 2006 Baja 1000. Mag 7 pits were key to my winning
the solo class in the 2006 Baja 1000 Each and every pit was efficient.
Not a drop of fuel was ever spilled. I was always greeted by the crews
with a "GOOD JOB", a smile, and always offered refreshment. Your pit
crews truly live up to the "Magnificent 7" (Mag 7) name. I will again be
soloing the 40th anniversary Baja 1000 race. You are my first contact in
preparation for the 2007 Baja 1320 mile race. I couldn't attempt this solo
event without the Mag 7 pit support. I hope you have a open spot in your
roster for my name and #.
The best advice i was given
was
to hire Mag 7 for pit crew support. Thank you to pit crew #7 for a speedy
motorcycle tire repair. Mag 7 kept my 2006 Baja 1000 solo ride roaring
all the way to La Paz. See you again in 2007,thanks again.
Just wanted to let you know that our team
was very pleased with your pit service. All the pits were well
marked and we had no problem finding them. Myself, I used pit one
and two and both pits I called in on my helmet radio and announced that I
was approaching and when I did arrive they pitted me efficiently and I was
on my way in a flash. With us being the first to arrive in all your
pits brought lots of excitement and support by all your pit staff, that's
nice to see.
We ran in the Baja 1000
this year to train for the “toughest off-road race on the planet”, The Paris
to Dakar Rallye. The Dakar team will face 15 days of the Baja 1000 in a row
during the Dakar 2006 edition. We know that the toughest day at Dakar will
most likely not be as tough as the 24 hour period for the 1000, although
some folks might dispute this statement. In this regard, The Red Bull KTM
USA Dakar could not have completed the Baja 1000 without the excellent
services of Mag 7. They helped us in every way to finish the event “iron
man” solo. From the gas at pits to helping our Doctors examine Chris Blais
in their personal motorhome, we could not have finished the race without Mag
7’s crew and their tireless efforts.
I am contacting you to let you know what a
great job Mag 7 did for us at the 1000 this year. At all pits we
were spotted and you had a crew ready every time we pulled in, your pits
were the most professional, we would pass other pits and it always looked
like they were scrambling the whole time. Thanks again to the Mag 7
crew we will see you at the next race. "I pitted with you guys for the 2005 Baja 1000, and I wanted to say that this was the smartest thing I did in my preparation to "Ironwoman" this race. You set-up pits in all the right places and allowed for me to provide easy locations for my own chase vehicles to pit for me in between your pits." #49A Jessica McCreary, "La Chica Loca" "The Mag 7 team was great at the Baja 500! Prepared and fast at every pit. Thanks for the support." Don M. #266x - Baja 500 2003 "Thanks again for the great experience. I look forward to racing with you guys again." Sunny I. #264x - Baja 500 2003
"Mag 7 is the biggest and best part of my racing
program." Rob Ransford, 2004 Baja 500 Sportsman ATV Champion |
